This workshop represents a valuable extension to the curriculum, offering students the rare chance to learn directly from a practising artist as renowned and skilled in life drawing as Jonathan Huxley. His professional insight and creative process will provide students with inspiration and technical understanding that cannot be replicated through regular lessons alone. In addition, this experience helps to build meaningful links with the wider artistic community, showing students the real-world application of their studies and exposing them to potential career pathways in the creative industries. The opportunity to work with an established artist is both motivational and aspirational, encouraging students to aim higher in their own artistic practice and academic progress. For these reasons, additional funding is sought to make this exceptional learning experience accessible to all students, ensuring that financial constraints do not limit participation.
