Photography cameras - Funding for cameras and some dark room equipment.

Items are part of the core curriculum. Amount is one off. Funding is for cameras and some dark room equipment. To buy some SLR cameras to start the elective course I would like to request funding for Cameras and darkroom equipment to enable the Photography elective to run. Students would be able to use the cameras year after year to establish their photographic skills. At the moment this course would be for the older students year12. I did run a photography lunchtime course this year with our photographer technician in school. The numbers were limited due to our resources. Having some new cameras would greatly assist the development of the course within the school. The vision is not only to teach students how to use the cameras and how to take great pictures, but to get them to put on an exhibition of their work within the school to encourage the wider school community to get involved.
